As part of our Green Flag requirements we carried out a Day of Action on Thursday March 21st. The pupils and staff took turns to clean up St. Michael’s Cemetery on the Dublin Road. It was a cold day but everyone wrapped up warm and got on with the task at hand. We succeeded in collecting many bags of rubbish. Well done to all involved. A special thank you to all of the parents who helped out on the day.
Athy Model School is a primary school under the patronage of the Department of Education, with a Church of Ireland ethos. We endeavour to enable each child to acquire a set of moral values based on the ethos of the school.
