A Tag Rugby blitz between schools took place on campus on 15th April; a big thank you to Joey Carbery for organising this. Tag Rugby is now over and will resume in January 2014.
Dates for your diaries:
School will be closed for midterm break from Mon 6th May until Friday 10th May.
School will close at 12 noon for pupils on Fri 17th May to facitilate a staff meeting.
The Junior School tour to the Chocolate Factory near Tullow, Co. Carlow will take place on Thurs 23rd May.
A Drumming Workshop with David Day for all pupils will take place on Fri 24th May.
The Senior School Tour to Tayto Park in Co. Meath takes place on Fri 31st May.
The Children’s Festival which comprises a church service followed by refreshments and an inter-schools’sports day takes place in Dunlavin this year on Fri 7th June.
The Infant Afternoon takes place on Tues 11th June from 1.20-2.20 pm. This is an opportunity for new pupils and parents to spend some time in their new school and learn a little about it. Invitations will be sent to the new pupils closer to the time.
The End of Year Service takes place at 11 am in St. Michael’s Church of Ireland on Sun 23rd June. This is a church service during which we give thanks to God for the 2012-2013 school year and say goodbye to the outgoing 6th class pupils.
The 6th Class Sale will take place in the school on Tues 25th June. It will be in aid of The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation this year.

School Motto Competition:
As you will already be aware,we are holding an in-school competition to choose a school motto. The winning entrant will receive a €50 voucher for Ken Black’s Toy Store. The winner will be announced at Assembly on Mon 10th June. Parents have free rein to help their children with ideas so get those thinking caps on! A reminder that the closing date for entries is Fri 24th May and the winning entry will be announced at Assembly on Monday 10th June. Good luck!
