The Junior Tour took place on Thursday 23rd May to The Chocolate Garden of Ireland near Tullow, Co. Carlow. We participated in a chocolate workshop where we learnt how chocolate is made and we were treated to samples of different types of chocolate. It was delicious! Then we had the very exciting opportunity to make our own chocolate. We each received a cat shaped mould and painted the inside with white chocolate. It was filled with milk chocolate and we had to shake it and turn it over and over for five minutes. It felt like a long time but we knew that our effort would be rewarded once we tasted the first bite. We finished off our day with playtime in the play area and returned to school happy and content. A big thank you to the parents who came with us, and a big well done to the children for a fantastic day out.
