ATHY MODEL SCHOOL PARENTS ASSOCIATATION

Dear Parents,

Our AGM took place in the Church of Ireland Parish Centre on the 13th October. We would like to express our thanks to Leanda Hill for the very interesting and informative presentation which she gave on “Bullying”.

Members were asked to raise their hands if they were in favour of the change to the Constitution. The motion was carried. We were therefore in a position to add two more members to the Committee. We would like to welcome Karen Dennehy and Sarah Adewuyi onto the Committee.

The Structure of the Committee as it stands now is as follows:

We were delighted to hear of the Award for the film “School Daze”, which last years 5th and 6th Classes received for Outstanding Achievement in Film Making for “Camera” at the recent FIS Film Festival which took part in the Helix Theatre, well done to everybody involved.
