3rd-6th Class recently visited Tayto Park in Ashbourne for their end of year tour. The tour commenced with pupils choosing their favourite activities from The Geronimo Thrill Zone and The Eagle Sky Adventure Zone. We were then given a guided tour of the Tayto factory where we saw how the crisps were produced and packaged. At the exit of the factory was the Vortex tunnel, a highlight for many of the pupils. Following this we were given a brief explanation and tour of the animals and their habitats. On leaving each child was given a large packet of Tayto to enjoy at home. We had a wonderful day out, even the weather obliged!
